The new online spec tool allows architects to quickly find the spec they need from a selection of custom shower door configurations or create a unique spec to match a given project exactly. By clicking on an icon that closely matches the needed configuration, a specification is instantly displayed for frameless, semi-frameless, or fully framed shower doors. The specs can be copied straight from the site or downloaded as a PDF file to your desktop.

For architects in need of a special configuration, there is a “Create a Spec” button that allows for specific parameters, finishes and glass types to be specified. Once submitted, the written spec is delivered via email.

Build Boston is the largest regional convention and tradeshow for the design and construction industry. Tom Daly and Art Jacobson, owners of New England’s largest shower door company, announced today that they will no longer be operating under their previous name. Their three shower door showrooms located in Feeding Hills MA, Weymouth MA, and Avon CT, will now be doing business under their new name, Oasis Shower Doors.

Owner and Manager, Mr. Daly, stated he was excited and energized by the change. “We design the highest quality frameless shower doors available today and feel our new name will communicate that to the public. People spend over one hundred hours a year in the shower, it’s their everyday getaway, their private oasis. Our new branding really speaks to that fact.”

The company has launched a new website at www.oasisshowerdoors.com which features resources for homeowners, contractors, and architects. The site includes hundreds of shower enclosure designs, an online cost estimator, and design tips for builders and architects.

“We’ve always worked to make the job easier for homeowners, contractors and builders” Daly added, “We provide online design tips that highlight common installation problems before they occur. We do free on-site inspections during construction to make sure things go smoothly. And because we design, fabricate and install our custom shower doors ourselves, we maintain quality control from conception to completion. Builders and architects trust us because we always use our own professionally trained installers instead of subcontractors. They know they are getting the best from start to finish.”

The company has also taken the lead by offering free shower design workshops to area builders, contractors, and architects. Tom Daly stated that he created the educational seminars to expose the industry to the endless design possibilities that their products afford. “Almost any design is possible today” explained Daly, “but you can’t take advantage of that fact unless you are educated about the latest construction technologies and building specifications. I’ve seen a lot of bad construction choices that just end up costing everyone time and money, helping others avoid those pitfalls is just good business sense.”

Oasis Shower Doors is still in the process of transitioning to their new name, but business partner Art Jacobson assures that the process will not affect the quality of work in progress.
